The Grade 8 Café is back! During the Sugar Plum Fair on Saturday November 23rd 10am – 3pm, Grade 8 students and their parents will have the opportunity to help raise funds for the Grade 8 year end trip.
This year, in partnership with Beaver Valley Outreach and Georgian Bay Youth Roots, a FREE student led initiative for all Grade 7 and 8 students will take place at St. George Anglican Church after school (3:30-5:30) on Mondays in November. Come join us for Crafting and Cooking in support of Sugar Plum Fair at Beaver Valley Community School with all supplies and snacks included.
Through this initiative, the students will prepare food for the Grade 8 Cafe!
We need your help in the following ways:
- We have three 2-hour shifts for 3 parents, 4 students throughout the day. To sign up: CLICK HERE
- Buy and donate *Note when possible please choose compostable and environmentally friendly options!:
- Vegetarian Chili – 5 Crockpots
- Dinner Rolls – 15 bags of 12 rolls
- Ice – 6 bags
- Compostable luncheon plates (7-10″) – 250
- Compostable cutlery – 250 sets
- Napkins – 500
- Apples – 6 bags (local apples preferred!)
Please drop off at the Teachers Lounge of the school at 9:00am on Saturday November 23rd. Please label any personal items with your name and your student’s name.
